IT TAKES TIME TO BUILT

Collage Series

2016
Tanya St-Pierre

The starting point for It Takes Time To Built relates to the influence of digital collage on physical (paper) collages.

Fascinated by cultural heritage within a context of digital revolution in constant movement, I approach, with It Takes Time To Built, some questions in the lineage of my project Blurring Identities concerning authenticity of images, especially photographs. But the main subject for this project is the construction of memory, wich includes notions of reappropriation, broken links, the lost of some details, juxtaposition and transformation.
